Cafe O’Lait Cabaret presents: Ladies’ Advice for Ladies

Florence and Emily have returned from Australia to present this satirical cabaret for ladies, gentlemen, and all who are both or neither at the 2016 St. Ambroise Montreal Fringe Festival. This is an English show for LADIES who have proper LADY reasons for going out to see a show (naturally hosted entirely by LADIES!). We feel that ladies have become entirely too MODERN of late, and we find it TERRIBLY frightening, and so this show will give some LADIES’ advice to our fellow ladies, so that they can avoid the pitfalls of modernity, such as failing to wear a HAT, or not being sure where the nearest FAINTING COUCH can be found! Naturally, as EVERYONE needs ladies’ advice for ladies, people of all genders are strongly encouraged to attend. Fainting couches will be at the ready for ladies who find themselves overwhelmed by MIXED COMPANY. Come see vigorous ladies giving circus performances, reciting poetry, and performing comedy (though not TOO MUCH comedy, as it is MOST INAPPROPRIATE for ladies to be too amusing!) Attire yourself in your finest hats and gloves and prepare yourself for a very LADYLIKE experience.
