The Montreal vegan festival is a non-profit organisation that wants to make the great public discover veganism.

For two days, foodies from all walks of life are invited to experience the vegan lifestyle and discover vegan cuisine. There will be kiosks, cooking demonstrations and conferences in both French and English – and everyone is welcome.

Vegan chefs are highly talented and they will have the opportunity to prove it at the Montreal Vegan Festival. Come discover mouth-watering recipes that you can reproduce at home to dazzle your friends and family!

🪄 #Repost from @dailyhivemontreal Whether you call yourself a “sneakerhead” or are just looking for an excuse to pick up some fresh kicks, one of Montreal’s biggest shoe and pop culture conventions is returning for another edition. 👟👟

Sneakpeak Presents: Make It Pop 4.0 will kick off on September 15, offering people the chance to buy, sell, and trade items such as sneakers, apparel, and accessories. 🛍🧢

According to @sneakpeak.universe founder Yohan Rebboh, Make it Pop 4.0 will also offer free sneaker cleaning, contests (prizes include new Jordans, sports jerseys, and accessories), live music, an NBA 2k and Super Smash Bros tournament, and even gift bags for the first 100 guests. 🎵🎮

Sneakpeak says guests will be able to browse “a multitude of the city’s best vendors,” who will be offering a large selection of sneakers, streetwear, and vintage items. 🙌

As for trading, guests will be able to swap items — think sneakers for sneakers or clothing for clothing. 👀

As part of the “all-in-one” nature of the event, professional barbers and food services will also be available on-site. 💈🍔

This is the North American premiere of the exhibition, which was previously presented at The Black Diamond, Copenhagen, Denmark. There are currently no plans for the exhibition to travel to the USA.

The exhibition was met with acclaim from press and visitors alike when it opened in Copenhagen in March 2020.

Stranger Than Kindness: The Nick Cave Exhibition is an unprecedented look into the creative world of musician, storyteller and cultural icon Nick Cave. With more than 300 objects collected or created by Nick Cave through six decades of his creative and private life brought together in large-scale installations, the exhibition is an artwork in itself. Created for The Black Diamond of The Royal Danish Library in Copenhagen, and with Cave as a co-curator and co-designer, the exhibition is an unorthodox fusion of biography, autobiography and fiction, asking what shapes our lives and makes us who we are.
