Battle Jar: Season Finale

One of my favorite parts of running Mobtreal is that I never know what I will find in my inbox everyday. After they followed us on Twitter, the word Battle Jar seemed to follow me on the internet, like spyware. I’m happy it did. I stumbled upon a comedic web series called Battle Jar. (It will be stuck in your head too now)

They have just announced the Season Finale and you can watch it if you click Read More!

This is the official press release.

Incarcerated Penguins is proud to announce the season finale of Battle Jar; a comedic web series created by and starring Montreal filmmakers Kenny Wong, Jean Bernard, Alex Gravenstein and Jen Viens.

Battle Jar is the story of four friends that use a mysterious Byzantine artifact to resolve impossible arguments. The ‘battle jar’ contains pieces of paper that indicate duels – and possible penalties – that will ultimately determine the victor of stale-mate disagreements. The battles are chosen at random and the fate of the winner, as well as reality itself, is forever altered.

Battle Jar has just wrapped up Season One with the release of the finale episode this September. We received an overwhelming amount of positive feedback from our audience and we are therefore heading full swing in to pre-production for Season Two.

The premiere of Season Two will bring a sharper edge to audiences; more epic battles, a fuller story arc, a peek in to the the back-stories of the four main characters, more critical arguments, and perhaps even learn more information about the origin of the Battle Jar itself. Season Two will be bigger, louder, and shinier.

Critics say, “[Battle Jar is] a series that moves forward with such relentless pace and energy that it leaves the viewer’s eyes zooming across the screen to keep up” Tubefilter
