Grinder’s OPEN MIC (Corporate Comedy) event takes Feb. 12th @ Theatre St. Catherine
Grinder’s OPEN MIC Corporate Comedy event takes place at Theatre St- Catherine (264 Ste-Catherine) at 8:45 PM tomorrow night (Feb. 12th) we can expect to see some new comedy faces that night. This week Grinders has managed to gather 9 corporate sponsors, so expect to see amateur comedy with a corporate twist tomorrow. I’m definitely interested to check out the show, and Theatre St Catherine ( it will be my first time)
Hosting tomorrow night is writer/comedian Alain Mercieca, accompanied by tomorrow’s headliner Nick “Nicky Martin” Martinello (from Toronto) and amazing line-up of solo acts that include comedians Stefan Petersen, Paul Naiman, Nour Hadidi, and Léa Stréliski
If that isn’t enough to entice you to come, they’re even giving out free coffee mugs, and we all know that coffee is the gasoline of life that enables these corporate chums to get the job done, so the freebie is rather fitting!
Grinder’s Comedy Lab is located inside of St-Catherine Theater and acts as an outlet for newer and less experienced artists/ comedians to manifest their artistic visions and try out new material. Which is inclusive of anything ranging from stand-up comedy, music, film, monologue, improv, sketch, magic, poetry, rap, beatboxing, theatre arts etc. so all in all, it’s an extremely versatile place to show-case your abilities. I think it’s fantastic!
IF you’re interested in checking out tomorrow’s show, or up and coming shows in the future, you can check out the official website and/or event page on Facebook.
Hope you come and check it out!
