Weekend Entertainment Featuring Montreal Burlesque Festival’s 5th Anniversary

The Montreal Burlesque Festival’s 5th anniversary celebration takes place this weekend at Club Soda! (1225 Boulevard St. Laurent)
They’re bringing back some of the biggest names in Montreal Burlesque, such as Cherry Typhoon, Trixie Little, Nicky Ninedoors, Cult of Yes, and Jezabelle Von Jane to name a few. I’m looking forward to attending this, and if you’re an avid follower of Montreal Burlesque (or just really enjoy a good tease) you can visit the official website for more information on show times and ticket purchases.

Headlining this weekend at ComedyWorks is comedian Frankie “Trixx” Agyemang. He was the 2013 winner of Just For Laugh’s JFL42 “Big Break” competition, and has opened for various stars such as Tracy Morgan (30 Rock), Damon Wavans (In Living Colour), and Mike Epps (The Hangover Series). “Trixx” is known to hold nothing back in his sets, and doesn’t beat around the bush while performing a set. You can catch Frankie Agyemang at ComedyWorks on Thursday Dec. 5th-7th, Ticket prices and show times are as follows:

Thursday- 8:30pm $10 and $5 for students with valid ID
Friday- 8:30 & 10h30 pm $15 and $10 for students with valid ID

Headlining this Saturday Dec. 7th at The Wiggle Room (3874 St- Laurent Boule) is comedian Bobby Slayton, as he presents “A Nasty Noel.”  Yes, friends, “The Pit-bull of Comedy” is back with a vengeance, and plans to show us what a “Nasty Noel” really looks like. Bobby Slayton will be headlining at The Wiggle Room on Thursday December 5 and Saturday December 7th @ 8pm. Tickets are 25$ in advance, and 30$ at the door.
