Gina Zollman Strikes Gold: Josie Award Nod + Bold New Album Originals

Singer-songwriter Gina Zollman is officially having her moment. She just scored a nomination for Vocalist of the Year (Adult Contemporary) at the 2025 Josie Music Awards—one of the biggest stages in indie music—and she’s celebrating the news by dropping her most fearless project yet: Originals.

The 17-track record is a kaleidoscope of Zollman’s artistry—equal parts jazz-pop, adult contemporary, and modern folk—woven with personal storytelling that cuts deep. It’s raw, witty, and unapologetically her.

“To be nominated in such a strong field—and at this stage in my journey—is honestly overwhelming in the best way,” Zollman says. “Originals is the most honest work I’ve ever done.”

Produced with longtime collaborator Kevin Fisher, Originals hits with standouts like “Any Road You Choose,” “Heartbreak Highway,” “You,” and the fan-favorite anthem “Garden Grove, California.” Every track feels lived-in, reflecting the risks she’s taken and the grit behind her reinvention.

And she’s not stopping at the studio. Zollman has been tearing up stages with her one-woman cabaret show, ORIginaLS, blending memoir, music, and storytelling into something audiences can’t shake. Sold-out rooms at The Gardenia in Hollywood and the Arthur Newman Theater in Palm Desert have turned into standing ovations.

The recognition at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville this fall is more than a career milestone—it’s a victory lap for an artist who once ditched the corporate boardroom to chase her creative fire.
