Steve Hackett celebrates the 50th anniversary of the concept album: The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway

Tickets for the guitar virtuoso’s only Quebec concert will be on sale this Friday, March 14th

For years now, Steve Hackett has been touring relentlessly with sold out performances around the world. He now celebrates the 50th anniversary of the legendary Genesis album The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway with his new Genesis Greats, Lamb Highlights & Solo tour. In 1974, Lamb was the last album to feature Peter Gabriel on lead vocals.Guitarist Steve Hackett joined Genesis in 1971, making his band debut on the Nursery Cryme album. Hackett’s timeless guitar work was woven throughout the classic Genesis albums of the ’70s. In recent years, he and his world class band have brought several of these albums back to concert halls to great acclaim. Many fans also asked for more of The Lamb’s songs to be included. What better way to celebrate the half-century of this remarkable album than to include a selection of Lamb Highlights alongside some of Hackett’s best solos and the essential Genesis Greats.

Accompanying Steve for North American dates will be long-standing musicians Roger King, (keyboards), Nad Sylvan (vocals), Jonas Reingold (bass, backing vocals), Rob Townsend (saxophone, flutes, additional keyboards) and Nick D’Virgilio on drums.

The performance at Montreal’s Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier marks the only Quebec date of this tour.
