Take a Chance on WISTA’s Mamma Mia this fall

Here we go again! After a two-and-a-half-year hiatus from live performances, WISTA is thrilled to finally head back onstage with our upcoming production of MAMMA MIA! The show will run for 6 performances: September 9, 10, 16, and 17 at 7:30 PM, as well as September 10 and 17 at 1:30 PM at the Louise Chalmers Theatre (501 Boulevard St. Jeans, Pointe-Claire).

Donna Sheridan thinks she’s left the past in the past. But when her daughter Sophie is determined to find out who her real father is before her wedding, Donna’s worst fear unfolds in the form of three old flames arriving all at once and interrupting the festivities. This hilariously chaotic story unfolds through ABBA’s greatest hits, Donna, Sophie, and the eclectic crew of Greek island folk who manage to find joy in the present while keeping the best parts of the past with them.

Whether a long-time dancing queen or new to the scene, this toe-tapping, dance-in-your-seat is the perfect musical for audiences of all ages! Enjoy the last days of summer with a trip to Greece for a feel-good, energetic, and fun musical put on by a vibrant cast of 26 young performers.
