Because I need to promote his event and because I have no time, I will copy and paste the press release for an upcoming show starring one of my favorite comics who left and is coming back. Stephen Spinola will be in the house, the Theatre St-Catherine house this May 15th with a 3 hour show called  Mr. McStevie’s Comedy Contraption followed by an Underpants Karaoke Party… cuz that’s just how Stevie rolls.

“The show will feature one hour of sketch comedy, one hour of short films, and one hour of stand-up presented by some of North America’s finest comedic talent.

The first hour will feature sketch groups Genius Gold, Daniel and Chris, and The Priesty Boyz – renowned christian rap duo. The second hour will feature a variety of short films by Stephen Spinola including an independent project featuring popular faces of Montreal’s comedy scene, “Los Dos Mundos” (2012).

The final hour will feature a stand-up comedy drinking game, “The Mont Royal Rumble: Legends vs. New Generation” – two of Montreal’s legendary stand-ups will go against two promising up-and-comers. Whenever a comedian makes the audience laugh, the opposing team must drink; the bigger the laugh, the bigger the drink! Who will win and who will booze? Come play along and find out who faces punishment!”

And what’s that you say about Underpants Karaoke Party? It’s exactly what you think. Oh Yeah! So come on down May 15th at 8pm to Theatre St-Catherine, 264 St-Catherine East. Tickets are only 5$. ONLY 5$. The deal of the century is at your door today! Even if you can”t stay all 3 hours, come for at least one. The price is so right. Go, support and laugh with my man Stephen. You won’t regret it!
