Rayannah premieres her new album Nos repaires (Our Haunts) on ICI Musique
Montreal, March 4, 2019 – Indie Montreal‘s IMTL Press is excited to announce that Rayannah’s new album, Nos repaires (Our Haunts), is now streaming exclusively via ICI Musique in advance of its March 8th release. She will be performing in Montreal on April 12th at Le Ministère.
Nos repaires (Our Haunts) explores both personal and collective realities. Having travelled extensively while composing the album, the bilingual artist imbues her songs with her experiences and emotions lived across numerous places and timeframes. The March 8th release date was chosen carefully. With a number of the album’s songs having been inspired by encounters with sexism (like Delphine et Marylou), International Women’s Day is a particularly fitting occasion for its release.
Following the album’s launch, Rayannah will tour her new live show in Canada and Europe. She will be in Montreal for a release show on April 12th at Le Ministère, sharing the stage with Saskatchewan bandPonteix.

| About Rayannah: Rayannah bends noise into music by running voice, breath, synth, and percussion through loop pedals. Underscored by intricate beat-making, her evocative lyrics in French and English rise above dense soundscapes, pulling listeners into a world both dark and sweet. Innovative on stage and in the studio, Rayannah is now unveiling music from her first full-length album “Nos Born and raised in Winnipeg, Rayannah has taken her electro-soul across Canada, to the West Coast of the US, and to Europe. Whether opening for Esperanza Spalding or Coeur de Pirate, fronting her band or performing alone on stage, Rayannah shares something raw, intimate, and transcendent all at once. |

Indie Montreal (#IMTL) is a music company that offers a number of different services to artists and cultural organizations. We exist to open up new markets and new opportunities for the cultural sector. Although we also work with large festivals, venues, other concert promoters and brands in various capacities, we identify as an artist development company for the province of Quebec, an often-elusive territory that consistently frightens off large majorities of the Anglophone music industry. As a multi-market concert promoter, we present approximately 200 concerts a year throughout Quebec and Ontario.
